Tameside Community Radio will play what you want to listen to!!! We know from the research we have undertaken that the play list will be made up from the very best tracks from the 50’s to today, classic songs such as Van Morrisons’ Brown Eyed Girl or Steelers Wheel’s Stuck In The Middle With You. These are combined with the best of today’s music in a unique blend of music that will only be heard on TCR fm.
Below is the TCR fm “A” and “B” list. The most recent songs that are very popular now or will become so very soon. The other categories that make up the current play list are 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and two other (secret) categories. The songs from each category are blended together to make TCR fm.
There is one factor above all others in deciding should a song be in the play list or not. At TCR fm…it’s got to be great music!

Tameside Community Radio Philosophy
Tameside Community Radio has been created primarily for social gain rather than commercial reasons. It’s purpose is to serve the community of Tameside and is not provided in order to make a profit.
It is the intention of the broadcast team to involve the community in the development of the station and use the existence of this community station as a resource for the whole community. We intend that TCR should become involved in training and education, and should make a serious contribution to community cohesion and social inclusion issues.
